Mequires and micro fiber cloth is about all I use. I use Turtle wax a couple times a year is about it and Mequires about each day I ride. In the rare event I must use a water hose on her, I use a mild dish detergent, rinse and jet air blow. A tip here on problem spots. On chrome and glass,, 0000 steel wool cannot be beat and will not scratch or dull, this stuff will truly amaze you. Do not use it on paint.

For the chrome & alloy I only ever use Blue Magic. Easy to use and always shines up real nice.

Stopped in at Dollar store and picked up a couple of dusters. One is a long handled on for doing behind saddle bags, and the other is a short handled mushroom brush for doing large flat areas. I am very pleased with the results. We are spending the winter in the Ocala Forest in Florida and we get a lot of pollen dust.

Costco has some really soft fiber towels and some Simple Green to get the big grim off. Then out comes the Pledge furniture wax. This stuff is amazing! Bugs do not stick much and I use it right on the windshield also. Easy to use and very quick.

I agree on the pledge, the bugs come right off the shield. Been using it for about 30 years now.

Harley-Davidson Bug and Tar...wash your bike, dry it...spray HDBAT on a soft cloth and wipe everything but the seat down then with a clean cloth wipe that off...you'll be amazed how quick and easy it is...it's like using lemon pledge but no fruity smell and no residue...

Light spray on the clean bike ( can be used on the entire bike chrome and paint except the tires) then just wipe off turning the soft towel over as you wipe.I have a few old hand towels that I use that have been washed in fabric softener that work real nice.

Re: What products Do You Use To Detail Your Bike

I use "Driwash' n Guard Waterless Carwash" for my bike truck and car. You see people driving around with signs on their cars "Waterless Car Wash Ask Me How" You stop them and they will sell it to you and you can sell it yourself if you want (like AMSOIL) I don't sell it but I've used it for 8 years. SHINE SHINE SHINE
and the dust and road grime doesn't seam to stick to it very well. It's hard at first getting your head around the fact that you don't wash the bike first. I haven't found it to scratch the paint. on any of my toys. Carry a small amount with me when I'm riding on a holiday. Use as directed and a micro cloth.
