Re: Marvel mystery oil

You can use it in the oil or the gas. I like to add a bit to the oil prior to a change and run it a few miles then change it. If you read the can it will give you the proportions for using it. Every few tank fulls you can add some to the fuel.

Re: Marvel mystery oil

what would happen if I was to add something like 2 oz of MMO to my engine oil? Would that help with anything? I have already did a service. Just wondering maybe 2 to 4 oz.

Re: Marvel mystery oil

As long as you don't overfill the level, it's a good additive to the oil in moderation. It will clean any gunk out of the engine.

Re: Marvel mystery oil

I saw the comment about not being good for bikes with O2 sensors. True? Does it cause fouling of the sensor? Thanks.

This is a qoute from the MMO FAQ web site.
"Will MMO cause any damage to oxygen sensors, fuel sensors or catalytic converters?
No. MMO has undergone rigorous testing to ensure the safety of all internal components in your vehicle including highly-sensitive oxygen sensors, fuel sensors and catalytic converters."

To check that and other question heres is the web site.

Re: Marvel mystery oil

Well I just added 2 oz to the engine oil. I had the 50K service done on it at Space Coast Harley Davidson. I have 3400 on her now since the service. I figured with 50k on the engine i figure why not. Every little bit helps. She is purring like a kitten with 50k.
