Victoria HD, Victoria Texas.
Just west of Victoria my thumbscrew broke. Not wanting any surprises with the throttle going thru Houston, I asked a local if there was a Harley store in town. Long story short, I told them I was on my way to Gulfport, Ms. to get ready for the Hurricane. They got me right in and 30 minutes later I was on the road. plus they only charged me for parts. Great people in my book!!

Tramontin Harley Davidson, Hope,New Jersey. Both for sales and service. We bought two bikes from them and were very please with the sales staf all the way through the process.Their Service Dept is top notch. The guys there are all great and don't treat me "like a woman"(if you know what I mean)They treat me like "a rider".

Smitty

Wish I would have went there. Milwaukee HD was crazy and I felt like they had raised prices for the 105th. Maybe I am wring but it sure seemed higher than normal.

Re: GOOD Dealers And Experiences

Tifton Harley-Davidson/Buell in Tifton, Georgia
Great bunch of folks. Our salesman, Bo is very friendly and has a passion for bikes. It shows in his work. The finance guy, Rick, worked his a$$ off to get us financed and get what I wanted (at least on paper) for my trade in.
Very happy with the deal, very happy with my ride and suggest anyone in the Tifton area check them out.
This was by far the best experience I've had buying a vehicle and the bonus is that it was my Fat Boy I bought!
I haven't had to use them yet, but from what I hear the service dept is great also.

Re: GOOD Dealers And Experiences

caught a nail in Maggie Valley, NC last summer on vacation. Called Lummus HD the next morning, they said bring it over. Dropped it off at 11, went and had GREAT BBQ, came back and it was done! They caught me before I left the parking lot when I dropped it off to tell me I should have new rear break pads added. I even told them to put on a front tire if they had time. the service manager called me while I was on my way back to the dealer to tell me it was done. Unscheduled and no hassel! they deserve a big thanks!

BTW, Gene Lummus is in Asheville, NC where we spent the night.

Re: GOOD Dealers And Experiences

I do not have my repairs done at my local dealer. There is a small local shop with a HD factory trained guy trying to build a customer base. I change my own fluids but wanted a 10K done and got it done the same day with the fluid change labor costs deducted since I changed my fluids just prior.

I recommend Area 51 Cycles in Grand Junction, Colorado. Not a HD dealer but exclusively HD parts and repairs.
