Re: GOOD Dealers And Experiences

Eastside Harley Davidson in Bellevue, WA. I've bought two bikes from them, easy to deal with, helpful friendly staff. Not too good on price, but they're only 1 mile from Microsoft for gosh sakes! Those dudes are rolling in the dough. I brought my Sporty in with a leak last year, I was going to make an appointment to have them repair it and the service writer figured it out and repaired it on the spot! And no charge either. The parts guys are knowledgeable and helpful, even put together parts for me when they were out of a kit and actually saved me money by doing it. Even threw in a free set of foot pegs for my highway peg supports. The salesman went out of his way to help my wife surprise me with a new Dyna at Christmas, and brought in a service guy while they were closed over the holidays to prep my new bike for me. They go the extra mile for their customers, highly recommended.

Re: GOOD Dealers And Experiences

I've got to say that I am very happy with my harley dealer, C&S harley in Mt. Pleasant MI. The salesmen on the showroom are very courteous and friendly. Even though they know I am broke. The parts dept. has very competent and friendly people working there. It is pretty bad when they look at you and say " which one are you working on?" instead of asking you the year and model. when I took the fxrs up there the first time one of them said " I feel I have and emotional attachment to this bike" as he was on his way out to look at it.

Re: GOOD Dealers And Experiences

Hope this isn't considered a thread hijack, but none of my experiences with local dealers have been particularly favorable.

I've been going to an independent mechanic for the past 10 years or so, and he has diagnosed and fixed problems that the dealers gave up on. He's a builder as well as a repairer, which may be why he seems to know exactly what's wrong when he looks/listens to your bike. After a tune up on my 86 fxrs the bike was smooth as a sewing machine. When he fixes a problem, it's fixed. The first time. I recommend him to anyone in the area with a Harley.

Re: GOOD Dealers And Experiences

ANZA Motor Co, our local Harley dealer never got to sell me my first Harley but as they took such good care of me since they got to sell me every one since. Nothing is out of the way for Kerry & Grace when it comes to looking after their customers. I've met guys that have gone past two other dealers to buy off them. Palmerston North. NZ

Re: GOOD Dealers And Experiences

Check out Jones Harley in Little Rock, AR; the one located on I-30. Deal with Wendi, she's great. They beat everyone's price within a 250 mile radius on my 08 Ultra and gave a 10% discount on extras.

Also; for parts Zanotti's in Butler, PA is the best. 20% discount on all parts. Great to deal with. I saved over $500.00 on extras for my new 08 Ultra.

American Eagle HD in Cornith TX north of the Dallas/Ft.Worth Area. I bought my Ultra Classic there. I also went to them for everything with my First Harley since they opened in 2002 after I had already taken delivery of my bike. Texas Harley in Bedford has come a long ways and I enjoy going in there and buying things.

Re: GOOD Dealers And Experiences

March 11th i went into Paradise Harley in Tigard Orygun to look at an 07 Road glide that was advertised on there website for 16,000. I'm going wow this bike is only 100 buks over blue book. I get in an start talking to the sales fella and find out that its a type o on there website.(someone got there butt reamed for that) He comes out with a price that 2500 buks more than what was advwertised. I asked the owner of paradise if he knows that bait & switch is illegal. He tries to play off the type o garbage on me again . I tell him its not my concern if he hires morons to manabge his website. He did try to knock off 1000 buks of the price. I tell him its not worth it and even at 16G he is still making a killing on a bike he paid 13g for(trade in)
I said forget it only a year left on the warent and the bike already has 10000 miles on it.
I said forget the used bike what you got thats new. If im going to dump 20 g or so i would atleast llike something that some other person hasn;t rode the poop out of. I ended up leaving with a new bike with a 2g gift certificate, but i still felt like an abused step child.

And every time i go in some tard that works there has to say something to tick of the ol lady and themn im the one introuble. THe last ime in the service guy is telling us how he has a slush fund hidden from his ol lady..I told him thanks for making my life harder.

Re: GOOD Dealers And Experiences

well finally i can post that my dealer is getting better than most i read on here.
after dropping my Heritage is was told it may have damaged the Master Cylinder internally and i would need a new one if it went hard.

Re: GOOD Dealers And Experiences

Good to see there are a few good dealers left that will honor the warranty.
