Transmission oil???

Which oil would you use 20W50 or 75W140 in a six speed transmission touring?

Depends on where you live, if it's in the north you might want 75/90

Many of us here have tried and are very impressed with the Spectro 6-spd gear lube in these trannies. See here:

Spectro Oils of America - Transmission Gear Oils

If you can't find it locally, see their website for ordering online.

TQ

Re: Transmission oil???

I used the Mobil 75/90 until I went to the spectro and I saw the same difference between these two as I did going to the mobil gear oil.

Re: Transmission oil???

I am running Amsoil Severe Gear 75W-110 in my 09 Street Glide and I am very satisfied. I went to there web site and signed up for the prefered customer plan. I save a little money on the oil and it's convenient to be able to order the oil and come home in a couple days with it waiting on my door steps.
