CV Carb Rejet Pics

Here's some pics that show some of the rejet operation and some of the workings of the CV carb...

This pic shows the accelerator pump to the right and the main jet needle in the middle of the throat...

This pic shows a removal of the concealment plug over the idle mixture screw...

This is the basic workings of the CV carb.

The slow jet is screwed into the carburetor body in the bottom of a hollow well . This jet controls the fuel flow as much as 1/4-throttle.

The emulsion tube (A) is threaded into the bottom of the carburetor body. The main jet (B) is screwed into the end of the emulsion tube.

The drilling of the slide (optional) the diaphram assembly and the different main jet needles. Under certain conditions like cold temps and low RPM's this operation can cause a pop back from the carb from the slide opening too fast and leaning out the mixture.
