Re: Favorite Television Show
Well, I've always thought James Woods was an awesome actor anyhow.
Jeri Ryan's inclusion... was a bonus. She can attack my legal briefs anytime! |

Silent Witness. You Poms produce the best police series along with the best comedians in the world!! I enjoy watching any show with Peter Sellers or Peter Cook in it.

Re: Favorite Television Show
How do the Americans see his accent in 'House'? Is it a passable one?

Re: Favorite Television Show
I'm quite familiar with Laurie's work on the Black Adder series, but folks I know that aren't... are blown away by his "accent". My sister saw him when he hosted Saturday Night Live, speaking in his native Brit and was amazed. Seeing how the character's supposed to be from New Jersey area, it's (the American accent) quite perfect. Laurie himself has admitted though, that the hardest part is trying to keep his American tongue, on some of the longer dialog's and "med speak".

Re: Favorite Television Show
I've only seen one American do an Aussie accent "spot on", and that was Kevin Klein in "A fish called Wanda", fantastic job!! Meryl Streep tried to do the accent in some forgetable movie and we all fell about laughing, it was terrible.

Re: Favorite Television Show
I can't remember the name of the film, but isn't that the one where one of her kids was attacked and eaten by a dingo?
