Do you remember....
Listening to a classic radio station today, the DJ asked if anyone in the audience remembered their first LP or 45 they bought. That brought back some memories.

I think the first one I bought was a 45 of One Tin Soldier. I don't remember who it was by. But I think the first one I got was off the back of a cereal box. It was a cardboard record of The Archies.

This thread will also date us, I'm sure! My first actual purchase? "Love Me Do" The Beatles, of course! But I grew up with music always playing, and often saw Mom and Dad coming home with the latest 50's hit, (then 60's), from the Standards like Sinatra to Rock and Roll to Country!

I won a 45 on a radio show when I was nine called " flowers on the wall" Still got it , just nothing to play it on
