Harley engine building book

Hi everyone! I'm gonna build a '92-'99 style evo engine from scratch. I'm looking for technical books on the subject. I recently bought a dvd that is pretty good at explaining disassembly and assembly. What I need is the meat and taters on bore and stroke combinations, head porting for big bore combos, and rod and piston dimensions for different displacement configurations. Any and all feedback is much appreciated!!

Re: Harley engine building book

I picked up a copy of "101 Harley-Davidson Evolution Performance Projects" which would have some articles you might be interested in. You can get it pretty cheap out on Amazon. Good luck with the build - Bob

+1 on the B.T.H.P.G. by William Denish. It is a very "readable" book with tons of info. Also, for the more advanced is the V-Twin Tuners Manual. It's mostly tables and ratios and enough numbers to numb your brain (at least mine).
