Xied's installed hers some word on them

I installed the Xied's and put the bike back to stock mufflers and stock exhaust. I am extremely happy with the driveability of my 08 Ultra. It starts fast, runs smoother, runs stronger, definately runs cooler and since the bike spends most of it's time in closed loop cruise mode, I feel this is the best money I have spent on my bike to date. I do think that bike had more top end with big sucker, fuelpak and pythons but bike runs so nice now that I am just gonna keep it stock as it puts a smile on my face everytime I ride it.
Also, I have had no code issues in 600 + miles of riding with Xied's installed..

I have Xied's on mine as well and wouldnt do without them anymore.
Runs cooler. The wife doesnt complain about the heat on her leg anymore, she noticed the diff.
Im happy. And that gentlemen is all that matters.

Just got home Ran around a bunch at the S&S party in Lacrosse with the Xied's in.
They do make the bike run stronger but it also such more fuel.
As for cooler a small amount cooler. Bikes sound has a deeper tone also.

I did not do the math but I make the same trip a lot and I did buy more fuel this trip. I was flying low up and back to it was 70-80 alot of the way.

Xieds
On stock Rg 07 16,000 miles when installed.
Install is easy 10 minutes
Bike with out a doubt runs stronger.
Throttle responce is quicker and stronger.
Idle is a bit slower.
Bike sound has a deeper tone
Temp gun shows a little bit cooler at idle but on a hot day 90 and up temps will come back up. Difference is not that much with or with out.
Running down the road at hiway speed bike is a bit cooler up to about 20 degrees.
Bike does use more fuel.
I get P0131 and P0151 codes on start up but there appears to be meaningless.
Inspection of plugs does not reveal much.
Over all bike runs good with them, thier strong point is the bike running stronger and seems to have more power more than their cooling of the bike.
I like them for the most part.
I have run the bike with and without them . You know when they are installed by the way the bike runs. Also it seems to start quicker.
Down side drop in fuel milage I normaly get 42-47.3 riding with in the law.
that has come down with the Xieds. Not a big deal unless you ride as many miles as I do it adds up fast.
I was hoping for a bit more cooling at idle and slow speeds, did not deliver as much as I had hope. But they did about what Nightride states.
I will be removing mine agin for a bit and compare the bike agin as for now I will not be running the for noraml trips
The bike has plenty of power stock and is fast enought , the fuel loss adds up.
I wonder now if I will miss this stronger running of the Xieds and the deeper exhaust tones. I did enjoy the way it sounded.
Xied's work just about as night rider claims and for some will be a good option.

Rode this week with the Xieds ooff the bike.
I noticed they were gone by the waythe bike responses to the throttle. Not wrong with it but not as stronge as with the xieds installed.
Fuel mileage came back up to were it was.
Honestly I missed them a bit got use to the deeper sound and throttle responce the gave the bike. I going to puth them back in for a week.
