Re: Starter System Testing
One additional thing, when doing the starter draw test on the bike, and you do not have a clamp on 200A meter, put your voltmeter across the battery (during starting the voltage must not drop below 9V or insufficient voltage remains for ignition) or face your bike towards the garage door or mirror (looking for visual as to how dim the headlight when starting, should only drop 1/4 brightness), for the more backyard mechanic approach like yours truly (yeah I did get one of those high tech DMM later on cause I just like electronics and tools).
