There is a service bulletin for the P1356 code (I am not sure of the SB# though, it is in the self help section here), I had it on my 2004 Road King.
I was able to get the dealer to download the software patch that cures this issue, and they did it for free under an "emissions warranty" that is good until the motor registers 16K miles.
Glider helped me with this back about 6K miles ago and the issue never came back. Good job.
