ECM learning
Does the ECM on 07-08 Harley's learn and adjust to your driving habits over time. If you put exhaust on or ac will it adjust at all (change in a/f)? If so, if you disconnect the battery does it revert back to the original settings. Loose memory?
Just thinking out-loud.

Re: ECM learning
basically no.
the Buell FI on the other hand Yes - the DDFI3 system on the new XB12 and XB9 learns to a certain extent - it will cope with an exhaust upgrade and learns your riding style, it use open and closed loop FI in the same ECM picking which bits of which map work best for the sytle of riding you are doing, HD is not this advance yet

Re: ECM learning
If they do some of them must be sleeping in class.
They do not learn but do adjust to input they get but only with in a narrow window. Example it you only add slipp ons it will adjust. With in the closed loop once out of the closed loop the 02senor is out of the picture anyway.
