Hey thanks Glider, forgot to look there. When I put the multimeter on the lowest ohm scale and check the pins on the stator plug they both give a very low reading but not infinity. Bad stator I suppose?

Nascar,
Mine had fried and showed a dead short (0 ohms) to ground on each socket. Funny thing was that I still got approx. 20 Vac/1,000 rpm! The short on the stator had also fried the VR. Or maybe it was the other way around. End result was new stator and VR! TQ |
