losing power

Can someone help me? I have a 99 flhtpi with a big bore stage one kit, sampson pipes with no baffles and a power commander. When I am at low speed my rpm's drop and the bike starts to die. I changed the intake manifold gaskets and still have the same problem. I took it in to have the codes read and they said nothing was showing. My plugs are clean. Is there something I am missing?

The MM EFI systems has it's share of hot and cold idle problems but running without baffles really hurt the lower rpm area so I would start by installing the baffles back in the pipes to see if the problem goes away.

Re: losing power

This problem started before I removed the baffles.

Re: losing power

Try disconnecting the PC III and see if it still does it. There's been a lot of bad PC's around.

Put the baffles back in like Doc suggested, it'll run better.

Also see if this helps you out with the idle.

Did you notice the little guy below? Lots of good stuff in there for the reading.
