auxiliary lightning kit 2002 FXD

Hi, I bought by mistake wrong lightning kit #69285-05, it fits Fits '93-'05 FXDWG and '84-later FXST, FXSTC and FXSTB models. Is there any chance to make it fit to my bike FXD 2002? Do I have to sell it and buy right #69284-05 one?

Re: auxiliary lightning kit 2002 FXD

The easiest way to tell is to trial fit the part. There are a lot of parts that are not listed for some bikes but still fit. Sometimes it's necessary to move or adjust another part and then it will fit for some reason.

Off hand, i couldn't tell what the differences are.

Hi, I got the kit and at least mounting brackets are for thicker fork tubes. Don't know about wiring and other possible differences. If anybody has #69284-05 instructions in pdf format and send to me or could fax paper to +35824876791 so I can compaire other parts and wiring. That would help me a lot, would feel much more secure when assembling, not a master in electronic... you know.
