New bars. ? On wiring

I have a 91 fxstc. I just got new bars and everything to install them just have a ? On the internal wiring. Being a 91 there is no plug adaptor to undo where do you unhook the wires under the tank to splice on to make them longer. Any help would be appricated

My 92 flstf's wiring connectors are between the tanks under the backbone I think yours should be in the same area.

if you can not see them you will have to pull one or both tanks to get at them or even see them. they set under the back bone under the console probably be two white plugs. Hope it helps you

My fxstc is a 92 and a lot of the wiring connectors can be got at by removing the right side tank

Thanks guys kinda figured I would have to pull the tanks was gunna pull the right side off anyways just to get the throttle cables in and out easier
