Hi all picked up my 07 sportster today but cant get the alarm to do what it says in the manual.......it arms ok with 2 flashes..no chirps or anything just the red key light flashes......on disarm no flashes at all and no chirps.....when i move the bike when armed just red key light flashes faster....

How can i tell if I have the chirping alarm or even the optional sounder siren.....the bikes not in transportation mode but the guy i got if from said something about in service mode and just follow the instructions in the manual but it dont mention how to revert in or out of service mode.......

Can n e 1 HELP ME PLEASE................?

Possible you don't have thew optional siren.

There's many posts on the different features of the alarm in this forum.

Re: Newbie needs help with Stock Alarm

both my 08's do not chirp on arming and just flash the little red key, to get out of service mode just start it up it should be the button less fob so as long as the for is next to the bike it is disarmed.

Re: Newbie needs help with Stock Alarm

fixed it...............i ensured the fob was miles away from the bike and moved it....whooo alarm sounded after a few warnign chirps. and when got the fob near the bike instantly stopped. No chirping on arming just 2 flashes and no flashes on disarm but it does wot it needs to.

excellent thank you for your help.
