Ignition cover

So I bought a chrome ignition cover on ebay. It did not come with instructions or hardware. I tried to back the hex screws off of the black cover but they just sit there and spin. Can anybody please halp me.
I also bought a battery cover again no instructions. I give up on EBAY.

Maybe I should say it is an ignition module cover. Should the four screws simply back out?

Re: Chrome plate cover

Are we talking "stuck" screws?? A good pentatrating oil, (not WD40) and let it soak in over night. Sometimes a bit of heat, micro torch or a soldering iorn applied to the screw head will do the trick.

Re: Chrome plate cover

I guess they are stuck? They sound like they are spinning in rubber?
Do they or should they just back out?
Picture of the cover attached

Thanks
