Alarm System

There are a few after market alarm systems out there for under $100.00. Has any one of you tried one of these?

Thanks

Re: Alarm System

I recently installed the "Gorilla" alarm on my 07' Superglide. It works well. The only issue was finding an area to mount the unit. I was able to mount it on the backside of the battery cover with a little coaxing. It is a loud unit with quite a few features for the money.

Re: Alarm System

i have always used a minimum of a Thatcham Cat 2 alarm with a Cat 1 immobiliser, but as the HD system is in the same class as a Full Cat1 but with out the certification that will do for me.
Thatcham is a classification for alarms and security in the UK and a Cat1 is the toughest to beat, the last one i bought and had fitted came with Alpha dots paint it on and has loads of micro dots, gold tagging (microchips), pager alerts, rotating code arming, self arming, hidden wiring looks just like stock, as well as 8 false looms , and a 3 circuit immobiliser fuel pump, ignition, battery. very trick and very expensive £450 fitted
