Rewiring Headlight/spots cutout

I have an 06 Ultra Classic and need a wiring diagram to stop the high beam switch from knocking out my spots (driving lights) when I switch from low to high beam. Here in Canada, the spots are supposed to be able to operate independently from the headlights. Do I have to wire the spot switch directly to power or is there another way of accomplishing this? Thanks for any help anyone can provide.

Eddie
