MAP sensor

Can someone please tell me what the symptoms of a MAP sensor going bad on a carbuerated 2004 twin cam are?

The map sensor on a carburetor bike is used for determining the amount of spark advance needed. If the sensor was bad or mis-calibrated, you could have too little spark advance (lack of power) for the conditions or too much spark advance (detonation) for the conditions at hand.
