LED Turn Signal Bulbs

I was thinking about putting LED bulbs in my turn signals and was wondering if I had to put a load compensator on .I wasn't sure if the self calibrating TSM would compensate for the lower draw of the LED's or if the TSM would interpret this as a burned out bulb.

Thanks
Jack

Re: LED Turn Signal Bulbs

In most cases you would need a load compensator. Some brands have them built in and the additional units aren't necessary. The TSM generally will not compensate enough for the LED's on it's own.
