Dropped harley wont start

I have been told that some of the newer Harleys will not start if they have been dropped on their side and that the only way to get the bike running is to follow a start up proceedure.

1) Is this true?
2) If true, what is this proceedure.
3) How does one know if their bike is effected by this.

I am assuming that when this happened there was no physical damage to the bike other than scratched paint/chrome.

Re: Dropped harley wont start

All you have to do is to upright the bike and cycle the ignition switch off then on again and start it up.

Doing this resets the power to the engine.
