Another SERT question
Hi, in the process of doing stage 1 on my 2007 Fat Boy, still waiting for a SERT to arrive. I know that they download via a serial port on a pc, but my pc i was going to use has just died and I need to know if it is possible to download via a USB port on a laptop with a USB to serial adapter cable.
Many Thanks. ![]() |

Re: Another SERT question
Radio Shack used to sell the USB/Serial adapters, probably still do.
If you can find a belkin F5U109,it will work. You just have to make sure the USB converter gets assigned a com port # that the SERT software can recognize.
