Hi Ice62, I own a 2008 Dyna Superglide (FXD) and want to adopt you solution. Could you give me more directions on exactly what you bought to install your footboards.

My bike has forward controls, but I kept the mid footpegs, so I have the two fixation brackets for the boards. Thanks.

Here are the full floorboards I put on my Wide Glide. Love them to death. They will scrape if I corner to hard but otherwise comfy as can be.

Harley Part number for the list is J01921 - it can be found on web in PDF format. but here it is. Parts are about 700.00 - well worth it if that is what you want. Fit all thru 2005 with no modifications. 2006 and newer require a bracket to be made for the shifter - other than that bolts right up.

Could you please send the file to me also.Thanks. The local HD shop is saying all the parts are obsolete. Has anyone had a problem ordering the parts individually?

The kit as a whole is obsolete. All the individual parts should be available. I purchased a few replacement parts for the original kit a few weeks ago.

There is a place called Walters Workshop that has shifters that are 2" over standard length. with size 12 feet I needed a bit of extra room between the heel toe shifter that comes standard from the motor company. one thing about using the longer shifters, you put more torque on the shift lingage so you may want to go to an aftermarket piece with the universal type joint as opposed to the standard barrel connector.
