ANNOYING cHIRPING SOUND

I own a 90 FLHT & a 94 FXR superglide. When these bikes are hot after being ridden I notice an annoying chirping sound oming from the engine area. I am wondering if this is typical for rubber mounted bikes. Any suggestions of cause and/or cure??

Re: ANNOYING cHIRPING SOUND

check the exhaust for air leaks as it may need new gaskets and tightening up

Re: ANNOYING cHIRPING SOUND

as you have checked the pipes, the next step would be the mounts and make sure they are not broken/damaged/worn and that they are at the correct torque
