08 fat bob noisey tranny
My 08 fat bob tranny just does not seem right, it chatters, especially in 5th at low rpms ,seems like lots of lass when playing with the throttle
Dealer sez thats normal but don't beleive it is or should be,, not my 1st HD any word on this |

The 07 and 08 cruise drive 6 speed transmission leaves a lot to be desired as far as some of the design. Excessive lash, chattering if the rpm is too low and a clutch handle that chatters because of a weak trap door are all common on the new transmissions. Have to say that for this one the dealer is right for once, normal for this trans....not right though.
Baker has a fix for this but it is rather costly. (F6F) they call it. BAKER Drivetrain | F6F
