Unhappy 2004 Super Glide Starter problems
After about half a dozen times starting my bike, I get a sound out of the starter like it's not engaging. It's like a car starter sound when the bendex drive doesn't engage. I was told this might be the starter clutch. Does this sound right and if so is it an expensive fix. Thanks.

It sounds like the starter drive is going bad. Don't have a price list here but they can run between $40-$80 depending on where you get it from.

sounds about right. if it sounds like it's kicking out and just spinning but not engaging the clutch ring gear. depends on do it yourself or dealer does it the clutch is about $ 80 I think
