Cool Re: Post A Pic Of Your Dyna Here.

My new 2011 FXDC Dyna Super Glide Custom. Just got it a little less than 3 weeks ago. I'm moving to San Antonio, TX from Nashua, NH in a few short weeks - can't wait to start riding it then!

I have a 2010 fxdc in the same color......you are going to love it! The only things I have done to her is add a touring seat with med backrest and a luggage rack and highway pegs. Highly recommend the sundowner touring seat if you are going on trips longer and 2- 3 hours......especially if you have a passenger. Everything else on my ride is stock.....even the exhaust and intake and she runs awesome! just shy of 18k on the clock and not a single issue.......I just do the maintenance at 5k intervals.

Good luck!!!!!

Re: Post A Pic Of Your Dyna Here.

Just picked this up 2 weeks ago. 2008 HD Dyna Super Glide Custom, 2300 miles.

At about 1k miles, the previous owner put just about every HD Willy G Skull accessory he could get. I'm not into skulls, so I'm in the process of removing the skull parts, and selling them off.

Wow.....looks like the guy you bought it from spent about a grand on willy g skulls and is running stock pipes......

ALso only 2300 on an 08?!?!?!? I have the same bike only a 2010 and I hit 2300 the first month I had it! Never ceases to amaze me how guys spend all that money on decorations and never actually ride em! Hey.....you benefited from it though.....once you part out all that silly g stuff you'll have money for some pipes!

I've replaced almost all of the willy G parts. I actually don't mind the stock pipes. I'd like a set of V&H that look cool, but as far as the sound and power, the stock pipes are fine for now.

Yeah don't get me wrong.....I'm running stock pipes too on my 2010 FXDC. The only money I have spent is on a touring seat, sissy bar, luggage rack, and a sissy bar bag......stuff I can use when I actually ride it. My point was more that the former owner spent big $$$ on decorations and never rode the thing! Looks like you found an awesome deal though!!!! FYI I highly recommend the sundowner touring seat for your fxdc......that was the best $ I spent!

I agree. The guy who bought it was the kind of guy that had money to spend, but obviously didn't put the money in the right places. I will most likely get a new seat and pipes in the future. I've only put 200 miles on it since I've owned it, so when I get out on it a little more I'll have a better idea of what I want.
