Hobbit, the overall effect is impressive!

Some remarks...
  1. the seat is awesome and perfectly integrated
  2. the black apes are great
  3. I like the black battery cover
  4. the new pipe is massive
  5. the rack fits perfectly (I thought it would have been out of tune...)

but...
  1. I'm doubtful about the curved spokes of the wheel: maybe when spinning the effect is different, but I don't like much the static view
  2. Definitely a NO about the paint: that bike MUST have a dull finish, no reflections!

Of course this is my personal opinion that doesn't affect the general appreciation of the bike....

  4. the new pipe is massive yep it is
  5. the rack fits perfectly (I thought it would have been out of tune...) i like it, it gives space

  2. Definitely a NO about the paint: that bike MUST have a dull finish, no reflections! the paint was dull (read un clean) a week ago but yes it must be matt

seriously tho great pics and you will get the rockers sorted without removing them just use some Belgom or marine boat polish on them and they will look as good as new

ps if you want stage 1 i have it here, see my previous pics with the lagged short shots very retro and look good on the black bobs

Yes, I'll do something for those white spots sooner or later... but I'm sooooooo lazy!

I remember your previous pipes and liked them but so far I don't feel inspired yet in changing the stock pipes (that, IMHO, are the most beautiful among Sportster, Dyna and Softail).

BTW, instead of Stage 1, today I bought an used Honda SH150i (2008) to go around in the chaotic traffic of Rome.
How small!!!
Getting down from a Dyna an riding such scooter is so strange: I could barely fit my feet in the space between the seat and the front shield!

But it handles perfectly... gonna use it everyday!

Ciao

Bike is looking great Hobbit. How does the pipe sound compared to the V&H? Any more tuning needed for it? I like it in chrome, adds just the right amount to it

its louder but a different louder its more Boom than the rasp of the shorts, and open it out and OMG its more v twin race bike than HD
as for the tuning it needs it as the pipe is so much more efficient in its scavanging it going on the dyno wednesday, fingers crossed for the figures im looking for
