lwos.
Many of us are members of other forums.
But a good forum is just like a good woman, don't talk about your other dates while out with this one.

Any google search will discover other HD forums.

I am confident this forum is the one you will come to for the best advice regarding the breed. And like you said... great people.

Back to the subject of Dyna photo's.
Let's see some shots of those bikes torn apart in the garage for those winter mods.
And give us all a running commentary on how things are going, in detail.

Whoa there sparky......... what's your problem with me mentioning another harley site to read other discussions and meet other riders??? This forum isnt the BE ALL END ALL...
The fellow was brand new and may not have known to do a "google search".......
There is nothing wrong with mentioning other forums, just like there isnt anything wrong with looking through other parts CATALOGS for parts, not just the HD's.
I didnt "talk" about the other site.....just mentioned the NAME.
So lighten up pal

Re: Post A Pic Of Your Dyna Here.

Here's another pic.
This is my 2 up configuration.
I still much prefer the look of this bike as a solo bike.

I pretty sure they are 12". Still working on the full parts list. The bike was a demo, hardly ridden, so mostly used for display. Hence, most of the assessories I wanted. The quick release windshield and sissy bar was a plus. Vance & Hines Shorties and extra chrome. Just added saddle bags and winshield bag.

Sorry, still getting use to the tighter HD Community. Much more the the Magna Owners Community. Going on my first HOG event Saturday. They automatically entered me in the Red Nose Club because I rode to the dealership in 17 degree weather to have my bags installed. Cold weather riding is much easier with the Dyna, because I would have to sweet talk my Magna into starting.

Correct posting of other forums is inconsiderate to the owner of this board/forum im sure if we went there they would delete any metion of theis forum from the posts as well, the correct way is the way you have done it via PM or Email

not to ruin your stay here but CDN only mentioned light heartedly not to mention the other forums and as stated above he does not have the issue with you he was just mentioning your post were you questioned why and hoped the PM did not get deleted, flaming is not allowed here, neither is calling out.
i am a mod and admin on many forums and you will find that as long as you do not give direct links you will be fine and keep the direct links to other forums in mail form again you will be fine, it is just courtesey not to do it on the public forum.

If you read the rules of the forum, it will explain about posting links to other forums.

As far as your comment " This forum isnt the BE ALL END ALL..." Maybe you'll find what it is you're looking for on the other forum that you posted but if you post links here, they will be removed.

We also take the "be polite" rule here very seriously, I wouldn't suggest testing that one either.

Re: Post A Pic Of Your Dyna Here.

This is the last day this Dyna will look like this...today starts my Capstone class, my 83 FXWG will come apart, every nut, every bolt,
Looks like the money won't be there so I am only installing forged Wiseco 9.5-1 pistons, hone the cylinders, balancing the flywheels, bead blast the cases, mic everything...
I am moving the shock mounts back 1/2 " to lower it some, a 3 piece nacelle, 36" drag bars and 40" x 2" drag pipes, I have another student who works a body shop will shoot it 2 coat clear coat for $500. Jet Black...
I have an OEM harness so I will return to stock all electrics...

The pics are in my gallery, can't figure out how to retrieve them...
