Re: Post A Pic Of Your Dyna Here.
Congrats on the bike...... I hear ya about the snow. At least now you have something to look forward to this spring. There's nothing like a new bike to get your blood flowing and heart pounding. Word of warning..........stay way from HD and J&P catalogs, or you'll be "adding on" while she's stored. I didnt take my own advice and ended up putting 5K in major upgrades to my baby this winte

Nicely done....those add on's really dress it up........... Are you going with Chrome hand controls or are you going to leave them black? Either way, it looks sharp. |

Re: Post A Pic Of Your Dyna Here.
Thanks. I went both ways. Master Cylinder cover, all the buttons and Clutch and brake are chrome, the rest is black.

Re: Post A Pic Of Your Dyna Here.
In the photo, it's the Quick release Standard Compact Detatchable for Dyna's Harley part #58346-06....... However, I'm replacing it with their Quick Detatch Touring Windshield part # 57015-06, It's a bit taller and wider. My bike is in the middle of 5K worth of upgrades over the winter, including V&H Double Barrel exhause, PCIII, SC Air Cleaner, Dyno tuned, chrome swing arm, chrome sprocket, Kuryakyn chrome passenger and highway pegs, HD chrome passenger peg supports, Chrome inner primary, New 5 3/4" bullett style headlamp, fog lamps, new primary and timer cover, chrome bolt cover kit, the Touring windshield, Detatchable 5 bar luggage rack, sissy bar and back pad, engine/trans/oil innerface cover, chrome voltage regulator cover......and a few other chrome goodies. I'll post photos of the upgrades when I see her in April. She's in winter storage at the dealers and I'm not close by to see her.

Re: 2007 Dyna Wide Glide
nwadynarider......... welcome to the club, and congrats on the best machine on the road today!!! She's a real beauty. I know you're going to have a great time on your new ride. I envy you're being able to ride while I'm looking at a foot or so of snow on the ground and more coming tonight........and wind chills tomorrow of -35below here in Michigan.
There is another forum many of us belong to...... check out [removed] and click on "discussion forum". You'll see one for the Dyna Glides. Great people over there too......just like here. You can never have enough Harley Brothers and Sisters. Last edited by Speed; Jan 12th, 2009 at 11:27 PM. Reason: delete link |

Re: Post A Pic Of Your Dyna Here.
Thanks. You have awesome bike. I didn't think I would like the windshield when I bought it, but in the cooler weather, it helps. Just had my saddle bags installed today. Having rode metric bikes for the past 25 years, I now wonder why I never owned a Harley.

Re: Post A Pic Of Your Dyna Here.
I got the windshield to help reduce the wind, since I wear a half helmet and prescription glasses........and I've got to tell you, that windshield has taken a few hits from some stones thrown up by a passing car & semi. Man, if that wasn't there, who knows. They should like a rifle bullet when they hit. And the June Bugs sting when the hit my leg.......I cant imagine it hitting my face.
So if nothing else......it really protects ya from those projectiles coming at ya when you're going 70......
