Ignition on or accessory. Press function switch (button) until time is displayed. Press and hold for 5 seconds and 24 or 12 hour will display. Pressing the button will cycle between the two. When you get the one you want wait a few seconds then press and hold the button 5 seconds and I think the hours will blink. Pressing the button will advance the hours. There is no am or pm for 12 hour mode.
Pressing and holding the button for 5 seconds is the trick.
