Tank vent

Does anyone know if liquid gas excapes from the tank vent tube that is attached to the plastic valve attached just behind the head tube? I've run a 2 inch piece of tubing to just between the tank and frame and now I'm worried it will drip gas. If its just vapor then I'll leave it but gas and I will route it to the rear fender.

Re: Tank vent

i went to the dealer and got the correct part for the non CA models and ran it out the back like it should. Very ez and once I thought out the plan took about 5 min. There are pics in the exploded parts book if you have it.

Re: Tank vent

Thanks for the suggestion but what I wound up doing is reusing the existing tubing, the ones I removed, to make a straight run under the tank and down the back frame tube to the underside of the bottom of the frame. Zip tied it all in place and now no worries about fumes or liquid. Can't really see the tubing so I satisfied with the results. Thanks again for your reply.
