Progressive 412 series

OK, so I bought a pair of the black 412-4045 11" progressive shocks for my 2008 Street Bob. Anyone have any experience with these? Should I be thinking about lowering the front as well to even out the ride. Hopefully these won't ride as rough as some say they do! Any input would be appreciated.

The standards ride a little softer than OEM depending on pre-load settings). The heavy duties ride a little stiffer. Front end lowering depends if you like the look. Progressives will stiffen the front end up a little, but so will heavier oil.
