"Gone Solo" - 2009 FXDC

Since the wife got her own bike back in May, I decided to do a little make-over to the Dyna. I added a Mustang Solo Tripper, chrome round A/C back plate and smooth round cover, removed the sissy bar, and removed the engine guard.

Went on a 200 mile ride today, and I must say, the Mustang seat is a winner! No soreness and better in looks by a long mile!

Thanks for the ideas!

Looks great. Since my wife got her own ride, the only thing on my rear seat is luggage. I have to carry both hers and mine.

Looks nice, the same color combination of my '92 fxdc. A lay down tag would look nice on there too. I really like the fat fork tubes on the newer fxd's.

Did the Day Tripper move you closer to the Handlebars?

I haven't noticed any lateral movement from stock, but it did lower me about 2". At 5'7", it is a much more comfortable riding position accompanied by the 4" curved risers.
