I agree. But what on earth is that red coating. I have seen orange(rust color) but never red. If it's not the fuel, what could it be.?

Fuel additives can do some strange things as far as plug color.

Re: Its ILL - and its the ECM

well dealer called motor thankfully is not cooked - see stock heat is good for summat it hardens the motor up LOL
if the ECM does not fix the issue - its on the dyno the minute its fixed they have said they will replace all the sensors the ECM takes readings from.

on a lighter note its having the Oil cooler installed that should have been done months ago and the shorts are coming off as they are ruining the rear wheel to radius pipes in black

Hobbit,
Sounds like a plan. ECM & sensors should cover it but it sounds like "Deep Pockets" time for sure.
I would be shaking in my boots to see that bill.

Hoop!

Re: Its ILL - and its the ECM

Awesome! I was worried. I would have had to get a second job just to pay for it.

I do have to admit HD is a GREAT company when it comes to warranty. I have a Ford Mustang and if the part is over $50 they have to send pictures and get approval from the Ford Plant. If the plant says NO, you won't get it fixed. Ford is Terrible & I won't ever buy another.
