You cant "disconnect" it but you could get the Stage 1 download to have raised.
By the way, the rev. limiter is there for a reason.

yes, it is there for a reason, but it's not about speeding... but rather having the option....

what gear you in ?i mean 160kph if roughly 100mph my 09 street bob will surpass that in 3rd ?
is you bike restricited in any way other than the 5500 rev limiter.
oh the stock heads will not take being beat on for long as the springs on the valves are not strong enough and youwill get valve float scrapping your motor

Re: fat bob 09 rev limiter???

ok, so it isn't the rev limiter, is there a speed limiter on a factory fat bob 09??? I was at 160km/h and felt there was a lot of power left in the engine...

Re: fat bob 09 rev limiter???

No there is no limiter unless you are really unlucky and have a bike destined for the japan market as by law they have to restricted to 101mph, hence all the imports to the uk ie the Mazda eunos / and some of the early skylines have be completely derestricted

U.S. cars and trucks shut down at 100mph untill you put a chip in them
