Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr

well i have had the Dyna back 2days and its off again, the electrics are all over the shop, bits touching hot components and not were there meant to be, bits missing, scratched fender, and to top it all - no power, running the limiter wayyy to early, over heating to the extent if i stop in traffic its pinking even at idle and the heat is enough to make you get off
there is something very wrong with it and i have a feeling its all to do with the electrics
i will keep you posted

Re: Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr

WOW, that's a bummer. Wonder if the dealer working on it even tested it before returning it to you. I vote NO.

Re: Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I know they all test rode it and said it was possibly the fastest Hd in the west mids so I reckon they broke it , but the heat off it currently is immense it's actually melting the powder coat on the heavy breather
has been suggested by a drag racing friend that the map sensor has possibly gone bad

Re: Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Do they have a good Harley net work in England as far as tech support and parts availability. Do the techs get training by satillite. How long for parts shipping. I imagine that it can get frustrating. Do you know more than the techs.

Re: Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I hat to keep saying it but just because someone works at a dealership, doesn't make them a mechanic.

I've been a wrench, cars, bikes, airplanes, helicopters, and certified in all, and 90% of all the mechanics I've ever met I wouldn't let fix my sons bicycle. I agree 100%, just because somebody works at a bike shop doesn't make them a mechanic-----jack
