Re: Air cleaner
I have the heavy breather on my 08 Dyna with Rush slash cut slip ons, and the remapping download from Harley. Got the heavy breather brand new in the box from e-bay for $150.00 with 6 bucks for shipping and handling.

Re: Air cleaner
The first time I checked the SE air cleaner (blue) after buying the bike (used), I found some tears & immediately ordered the K&N HD0800. Installed K&N filters on my turbo Chrysler (112kmiles) & '85 motorhome (454 Chev). I'm satisfied.

Re: Air cleaner
I have the K&N with the stock cover as well. I am trying to keep my '03 wide glide as close to original as possible.

Re: Air cleaner
I know my ride is a Sportster, but I have a Tear Drop S&S style a/c and really like it. I installed a Spectre Air Cleaner wire mesh hi performance type element P/N 4806 that is 6 3/8" diameter by 2 1/2" ($8.95) and flows just fine. There is about 3/8" gap exposed under the perimeter of the chrome cover that allows you to visually inspect the element and flows additional air. The OEM one was 2" and totally covered the gas and oil soaked old element when I bought the bike, so I though this would be a good method to kill two birds with one stone (on a budget).
