Maybe a stupid question, but on an 08 Dyna Low Rider is the gas cap vented or non vented? Thanks

Re: Vented or non vented gas cap

The tank is vented and if you overfill it you will see the hose drip just forward of the rear tire

So the tank is vented, does that mean I need a vented cap?

Re: Vented or non vented gas cap

I believe you'll find that the vent line only comes into play with the cap off the tank otherwise if pressure built up in the tank like sitting in the sun the cap would need to be vented. It would also cause a problem running if it wasn't vented.
