Installing Tuners

Just a word of caution when installing a tuner that would require lifting of the tank to connect injector wires or run other wires up the backbone for other accessories on fuel injected bikes.

There is a short fuel line about 6" long that comes out of the quick disconnect fitting on the tank and runs to the fuel rail under the tank which supplies the injectors.
When lifting the tank if it is not completely disconnected, this line will contact the backbone of the frame and the end result will be the end fitting which is plastic will crack and leak fuel onto the motor and require replacement of this fuel line for the cost of about $45. If you are lucky the dealer may have one in stock.
