Re: Sportster DTC Codes
On my 2004 sportster 1200 I am getting; in order; P-nonE then pn68980-04
(S or 5) nonE then PN68980-04 (5P) N5 then PN 67436-04 (E) Nor5P I also took out the speed sensor on the sporty it was in the Front of the trany case. Allen bolt holding it in and a blue "O" ring on it. NO SHAVINGS at all on it, CLEAN. What does it look like to you? Thanks, Al |

Re: Sportster DTC Codes
Looks like part numbers you are seeing which is normal.
Each letter represents an area of the diagnostics module. The module that is flashing is the one you are going to check. To move from one letter (module) to the next, you push the odometer reset button one time. (from P to S to SP to t and back to P, etc.) P = ECM/ICM (Electronic Control Module [EFI] / Ignition Control Module [Carbureted) S = TSM/TSSM (Turn Signal/ Turn Signal Security Module) SP = speedometer T = tachometer |

Re: Sportster DTC Codes
The codes are posted by the system, there's nothing to set. We don't email answers via email links.

Re: Sportster DTC Codes
It's got the symptoms of the sensor but from here it's kind of hard to tell without checking the wiring over too.
