A great article dealing with the various fuel injection devices and a brief description of how they work.

I did the same thing Steve. At a glance they looled like they were still in operation. Right behind the cross member between the front down tubes is an excellent place to do the front one. The rear one got hidden down by the starter.

Re: EFI Tuner Comparisons

I am truly enjoying the information on this site. I have been planning to add a Thundermax system to my bike if the money permits. My understanding is that it is self adjusting via readings from the wide band O2's. I have never heard of the TFI from Dobeck until entering this site. It looks to be a piggyback system simple in operation.
I am only going to be doing minor mods to my bike in the future like mild cams (torque) slip-ons and air cleaner and maybe a 103 kit one day. From what I have read, users of both are satisfied. Is the T-Max overkill or is the improvement worth the $$. Does the TFI eliminate the O2's?

I have the thunder-max and my opinion is yes it's over kill, and yes! it IS worth the money. I like being able to hook my bike up to my computer in the Garage and see what's going on and review how it's running and seeing how much time I spend at certain RPM's compared to others. There's a lot of other reason, but this post would be a book if I went into them.

I agree with wildspirit, the thundermax is a bit expensive, however it is the best tuner out there.
