jackshaft

building a bike ran into a problem bought a spike jackshaft but when i went to put on the outer primary cover the hole in the cover was to small the jackshaft was larger so what i need to know is what year outer primary uses the larger jackshaft thanks

Don't know the answer to that one
but wouldn't it be possible to drill out the outer primary to accommodate the larger jackshaft

Don't know what year either but it's only a bushing in there, what's the chance of removing and changing it?

The diameter of the jackshaft hole in the inner primary changed in the early `90s If my memory is correct...and I think `89-`90 were the larger holes. You might give spyke or all balls a call and find out for sure.

Doh, ignore my last post, you asked about outer primary cover, I was thinking inner primary cover...

called spyke the larger shaft is 95 and later evo non twin cam anyone got one they want to sell,jel
