I guess I ought to do that...I'm pretty computer-illiterate, so I have to rely on my kids to tell me whatever I need to know regarding this stuff!

IMO Vista had to much junk that many would never used in it and was just to over engineered. 7 is leaner.
Many is most could still get by win98 .

Smit, I was perfectly happy with XP, but this laptop came with Vista so I had to make the decison to learn it or do what my son suggested, which was to re-install XP over the Vista. I decided to just keep Vista....now I guess I should have taken my kid's advice!

Re: Simple image resizer and free

Richard, stick with Vista, until Windows 7 clears the ground...XP will become obsolete as IT managers kicking and screaming get dragged into Vista or more likely Windows 7...especially if you are getting new peripherals like printers or all in ones...just a matter of time.

Re: Simple image resizer and free

Another nice thing with the resizer is you can rename a whole folder of pictures with a coupler clicks and you can resize a buch at the same time.
Saves a lot of time
