Smile Radio wiring question??

2001 FLHT, I'm trying to straight wire an aftermarket radio/CD player but I do not know the color codes for the wires in the harness. Does anyone know which color is the power, ground, speakers, etc??
Any advice on how to would be greatly appreciated!!

Re: Radio wiring question??

If you have a factory manual the wiring is in the back of the book.

Is it possible to get a after market radio volume to work with the controls on a Ultra?

Re: Radio wiring question??

If the after market radio is set up to accept this feature, yes, but if it isn't then I would say no. It wouldn't have the circuitry to do it.

Re: Radio wiring question??

The only ones I know of to work with the hand controls is the Sony's and a special connector box. Go to Eglidegoodies.com and you can see it for sale there. They also show a Kenwood stereo, but I don't think it works with the hand controls.

Re: Radio wiring question??

I got a buddy that does custom radio installs and he says that any aftermarket radio that is set up to use steering wheel function controls will work
