Ignition noise supression
2008 RK. 100% stock. I am starting to think about adding a radio powered off the bike's electrical system and with its own antenna. Up to now, I have been using a shirt pocket transistor radio and have been putting up with ignition noise, not surprised by that.
Question: When a radio is installed at the factory, is there some ignition suppression included with the installation which I would also have to install along with the permanent radio to quiet the ignition? If so, is that a parts counter item I could add now to quiet the ignition for the walkman type radio I'm using now? |
