can a chatterbox be used to talk to a CB radio?
My wife and I are doing the Route 66 gig on our Ultra and use our intercom to run our jaws. My son is coming this year and I am trying to find a simple way to tlk to him while riding. Can you use a chatterbox if so what model ? or would there be a simpler cheaper way?

No. Totally incompatible frequencies. (FRS= uses frequency modulated (FM) transmission )

You can purchase a cheap Midland hand CB with a headset for under 100 bucks. I bought one to use on trips when I am on interstates. Works OK
